What an exciting scene in Ada, OH to see nearly 400 farmers in the chapel listening to sessions on cover crops. I’ll report more later on the CTC meetings but it was quite satisfying to the folks from Ohio State that so many producers are interested in cover crops. Congrats to Alan, Jim, Randall, Mark, and others for their hard work.

There is a meeting in NW Iowa on March 24.
Also there is a cover crop dig on March 9, 2011 in northern Miami County, Indiana. It starts at 9 am and is located at the Musselman Shellview Farm (10885 N 400 E, Macy). They are located near the intersection of CR 400 E and 1100 N. Any questions, please call Miami County NRCS at (765) 473 6753, ext 2. NRCS soil scientist Scott Haley will be there to do an evaluation.
